Hello and welcome!

I am Birgit the maker & founder of Cassia Organics.

As most indie beauty brands Cassia Organics is cruelty free, Vegan and almost completely organic; with many wild-crafted herbs, sustainably harvested and available seasonally. We make it a point to follow GMP guidelines and as of June 2019 we are completely palm-free. We use recyclable & compostable materials for our products. We make it a point to use only a few carefully vetted suppliers that share our vision. But we are so much more then just beauty, we constantly evolve to be kinder, more loving and brighter human beings - just Glow!

At home in the woodlands, with a deep connection to mother earth, I impart the wisdom of my leaf-bearing friends into  nourishing products, empowering you to live a more natural lifestyle.

"Wilderness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from" -Terry Tempest Williams

I love to create products that focus on pure plant essences and delightful aromatic combinations, allowing the spirit connection to nature and a body ritual that can calm or energize. The old-world traditions passed on from my grandmother utilize a plethora of raw ingredients from the garden or wild crafted from the woods nearby. Many of the essential oils and herbs are sourced from around the world to evoke distant akashic memories and awaken unwritten desires that allow you to explore the spaces between the natural world and that of the ethereal. It is known that natural essences in just the right combination can transport you to another time and place; conjuring memories of natural landscapes and experiences remembered deeply in the subconscious.

Let me accompany you gracefully throughout your day, with scents that are at once reminiscent of another world, yet deeply familiar.

warmly,
Birgit

A bit of history below, my great grandmother’s store in Germany where she sold her creations – we’ve come full circle in many ways….around 1915

and of course the best place for product inspiration is always the grove...
